After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Villa Duchesne finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of the Parkway Central Colts by a score of 2-1. Villa Duchesne's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Villa Duchesne's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-6-1. As for Parkway Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-3 record this season.

Villa Duchesne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parkway Central, they will take on Ladue Horton Watkins at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ladue Horton Watkins will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Parkway Central surely won't give up without a fight.
