Rowe-Clark falls despite strong effort from Taijuan Bloomingberg

The Rowe-Clark Masai Lions lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They had to suffer through a rough 65-34 loss at the hands of Johnson. Rowe-Clark has not had much luck with Johnson recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Despite the loss, Rowe-Clark still got an impressive performance from Taijuan Bloomingberg, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Artez Jones, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Rowe-Clark has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Johnson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Rowe-Clark will stay at home for another game and welcome Hansberry at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Hansberry presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Rowe-Clark in Illinois (Hansberry is ranked 245th, while Rowe-Clark is ranked 632nd). As for Johnson, they will head out on the road to take on The Noble Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
