Soccer Game Preview: Mountain Heritage vs. Avery County + How To Watch

The Mountain Heritage Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Avery County Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mountain Heritage's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Meanwhile, Avery County managed to keep up with North Buncombe until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Vikings came up short against the Black Hawks, falling 5-2.

Mountain Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Avery County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Everything went Mountain Heritage's way against Avery County in their previous matchup back in September, as Mountain Heritage made off with a 4-1 victory. In that matchup, the Cougars amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
