Softball Recap: West Bend-Mallard Takes a Loss

West Bend-Mallard came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Sioux Central Rebels, falling 10-1. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West Bend-Mallard's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sioux Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

West Bend-Mallard will challenge Northwest Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sioux Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-3 defeat against Gehlen Catholic on the 14th.
