Baseball Recap: Wasatch Comes Up Short

If Wasatch was feeling good fresh off their 14-5 takedown of Pocatello on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wasatch Wasps fell 8-5 to the West Jordan Jaguars on Saturday.

Bridger Shaw made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Micah Dahl also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Wasatch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for West Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Wasatch will head out on the road to challenge Granger at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Jordan, they have already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Richfield on the 15th.
