Baseball Recap: West Perry Takes a Loss

West Perry lost against Boiling Springs back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Bubblers by a score of 2-1.

West Perry's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Boiling Springs, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

Looking ahead, West Perry will venture away from home to take on Fleetwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Boiling Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against East Pennsboro on the 26th.
