Baseball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper lost against Wylie on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Wylie, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cooper is set to square off against their familiar foe Abilene at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wylie will face off against rival Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
