Softball Recap: Glenn Falcons vs. Mishawaka Marian Knights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Porte, Glenn was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mishawaka Marian Knights by a score of 7-4. For Glenn, this counts as revenge for the 23-0 loss Mishawaka Marian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

MAC Timm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than seven innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kiara Meadway, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Scout Wilsey, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

On Mishawaka Marian's side, Kaitlin Pratt was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off ten hits.
