The Halfway Cardinals's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 71-14 victory over Everton. That 57 points margin sets a new team best for Halfway this season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Everton struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-3) when they can't control their own glass like that.
The victory got Halfway back to even at 8-8. As for Everton, their loss was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.
Halfway will head out on the road to take on Wheatland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everton, they will be playing at home against Fair Play at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Fair Play is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
