Basketball Recap: Duanesburg Takes a Loss

Duanesburg was the 59-25 winner over Berne-Knox-Westerlo when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Duanesburg Eagles were dealt a 54-25 loss at the hands of the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs on Wednesday.

Duanesburg's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Duanesburg Eagles challenge the Northville Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Northville's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so Duanesburg's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, they will head out on the road to square off against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
