Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Find Success

The Lakeside Panthers beat the Savannah Christian Raiders 2-0 on Saturday.

Lakeside not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Savannah Christian to exactly 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21.

Lakeside can attribute much of their success to Zoe Evans, who had ten digs and one assist. Those ten digs gave Evans a new career-high.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Savannah Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Brunswick on the 16th. Savannah Christian has also already played their next contest (against Greenbrier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
