After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Green Mountain, Evergreen was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wheat Ridge Farmers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Evergreen won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Charleston Cowen and Anabelle Wyatt, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Ela Vanberschot and her 12 assists. Wyatt also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kiran Skelly, each putting up four.

Evergreen pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Wheat Ridge, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Evergreen has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Conifer on the 23rd. As for Wheat Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Littleton on the 24th.
