Basketball Recap: Piedmont Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Mount De Sales Academy

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Piedmont Academy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers with a sharp 59-37 win on Thursday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Piedmont Academy had a senior duo take command as Marissa Holder dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten boards and Kylee Keck posted 17 points and six rebounds. The contest was Holder's 19th in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Sarah Ellen Stroud, who had seven points and seven assists.
