Volleyball Recap: Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clearbrook-Gonvick on Thursday, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley came back down to earth. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Swanville Bulldogs on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolves have suffered since September 8th.

Walker-Hackensack-Akeley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Swanville, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will face off against Laporte at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Swanville, they will take on Upsala at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
