Basketball Game Preview: Classen SAS Comets vs. Del City Eagles

The Classen SAS Comets will take on the Del City Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Classen SAS didn't have too much trouble with Altus as they won 55-36. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Del City waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They breezed past the Jets to the tune of 68-16. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Classen SAS is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Del City, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
