            Grand Saline typically has all the answers at home, but  on Tuesday Malakoff proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with  a   5-1  win over the Indians. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the   6-2 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in March of 2016.

Malakoff got a great performance from  Jaxson Jedlicka as he  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Jedlicka has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Malakoff saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Mike Jones, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
Malakoff is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record  this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.8 runs. As for Grand Saline, their defeat  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 18-9.
