Volleyball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Concord lost against Bronson back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 16-25, 25-16.

Emma Burbo paced Concord's offense, picking up 15 kills. Burbo got some help from Bradie Lehman and her 26 assists. Burbo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Concord's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 20-8-3. As for Bronson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Concord will face off against rival Quincy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bronson is set to challenge their familiar foe Reading at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
