Burroughs won the last time they faced Knight and things went their way on Saturday too. The Burroughs Burros blew past the Knight Hawks 14-1.

Kanon Schiller made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Schiller was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Burroughs got a massive performance out of Colby Bachman, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave Bachman a new career-high. Joaquin Vasquez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Burroughs' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Knight, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Burroughs beat Knight by a score of 12-0 later that day.
