Volleyball Recap: Dacula Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

If Mountain View wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dacula, they should've done a better job of containing Elena Pucciano. The Falcons came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Pucciano, who had eight aces and three digs. She has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Dacula easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

Dacula's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. As for Mountain View, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, Dacula will square off against Grayson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Parkview on the 26th.
