West Plains extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Gillian Green. The West Plains Zizzers blew past the McDonald County Mustangs 84-63 on Thursday with plenty of help from Green, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

Delani Wahome was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dakota O'Brien, who shot 55% from the field on her way to 16 points along with eight boards and three steals. O'Brien is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jamie Washam, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

West Plains' win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for McDonald County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

West Plains didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-51 victory against Hillcrest on the 8th. McDonald County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
