            Shalom Christian Academy's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They never let the Lancaster County Christian Lions get on the board and left with  an   8-0  win. The Flames not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 14th (when they won  10-2).

 Ethan Brechbill and  Drake Wenger did most of the damage at the plate:  Brechbill  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  Wenger  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. Wenger has become a key player for Shalom Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 2-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keaton Shands, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.

Shalom Christian Academy's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-8. As for Lancaster County Christian, their loss was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 2-9.
 Shalom Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  9-1  win against Fairfield on the 6th. As for Lancaster County Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  6-5  victory against Lancaster Mennonite on the 7th.
