Cosby entered their tilt with Clover Hill on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Cavaliers. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by just one run.

Kam Brown was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kammie Walter was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Lily Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Cosby's record now sits at 7-2. As for Clover Hill, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Coming up, Cosby will welcome Monacan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clover Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Midlothian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
