Baseball Game Preview: Lyndon Tigers vs. Wabaunsee Chargers

The Lyndon Tigers will face off against the Wabaunsee Chargers on Thursday. Lyndon hasn't scored more than two runs for seven games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Lyndon lost 12-2 to Central Heights on Monday.

Meanwhile, Wabaunsee fell victim to Council Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Braves, falling 15-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lyndon's loss dropped their record down to 1-15-2. As for Wabaunsee, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Lyndon came out on top in a nail-biter against Wabaunsee when the teams last played back in May of 2022, sneaking past 9-8. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
