The Dysart Demons will challenge the Crismon Rattlers at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Dysart is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Dysart is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since March 28, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Lee Williams by a score of 7-5.

Juan Anaya was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Anaya was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Crismon waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Knights a 29-0 shutout. The Rattlers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.

Allan Hackett looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Crismon got a massive performance out of Aaden Lopez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Lopez has become a key player for Crismon: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Kenny Wilsford was another key player, scoring five runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Crismon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Crismon's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Dysart, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Dysart has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. However, it's not like Crismon struggles in that department as they've averaged .536. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
