Memorial proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shawnee Indians, sneaking past 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Roughriders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Memorial pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Shawnee, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.

Memorial has already played their next contest (against Coldwater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shawnee, they will host Van Wert at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
