While Barnstable won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-22.

Barnstable now has a winning record of 3-2. As for King Philip Regional, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barnstable will challenge Brockton at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for King Philip Regional, they will head out to face off against Taunton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
