Southwest has gone a perfect 5-0 against Coral Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Southwest Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Coral Park Rams at 3:30 p.m. Southwest knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Coral Park likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Southwest came up short against Hialeah-Miami Lakes and fell 15-10.

Sannaya Pardey was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Five bases. while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Mia Acosta, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Coral Park came up short against TERRA Environmental on Wednesday, falling 13-3.

Coral Park's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Southwest, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Southwest's way against Coral Park when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Southwest made off with a 25-8 win. Does Southwest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coral Park turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
