Football Recap: Boone Takes a Loss

Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Lewis Central Titans, falling 52-21. The Toreadors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lewis Central, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone will face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewis Central, they will take on Denison-Schleswig at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Monarchs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
