Volleyball Game Preview: Union Farmers vs. Irvington Blue Knights

After both having extra time off, the Union Farmers and the Irvington Blue Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Irvington took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Union, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Union was able to grind out a solid victory over Hillside, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Farmers.

Meanwhile, Irvington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Nutley.

Union now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Irvington, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
