Senior Ben Persinger, who rushed for 159 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. Senior Gordon Stephens was in the mix, too, providing Wright Christian with 2 touchdowns. The game brought them to 2-0 and dropped Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy to a mirror-image 0-2.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week, Wright Christian take on Graham/Dustin at 7:00 PM.
