Softball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Copper Canyon on Wednesday, Washington came back down to earth. The Rams took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfax Stampede on Thursday. The Rams have struggled against the Stampede recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Fairfax, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Washington will take on Sierra Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfax, they will head out on the road to face off against Carl Hayden Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
