Walkertown entered their tilt with Rockingham County on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 75-49 win. With the Wolfpack ahead 44-22 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Walkertown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenan Grady out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Grady has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Ricco Daniels was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 15 points.

Walkertown's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Rockingham County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walkertown won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against East Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolfpack will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Rockingham County and Reidsville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:20 p.m. on Friday.
