Gloucester had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Swampscott Big Blue. For the Fishermen, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 victory the Big Blue walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Gloucester pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Swampscott, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gloucester will square off against Northeast Metro RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Swampscott, they will challenge Stoneham at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
