Basketball Recap: Jocahana Pullum Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Agricultural Science

It's playoff time, and Morgan Park had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Agricultural Science Cyclones by a score of 45-32 on Wednesday. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 67-53 victory the Cyclones walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morgan Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jocahana Pullum, who posted six points in addition to 12 boards and eight blocks. Pullum has become a key player for Morgan Park: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least eight rebounds, but 10-11 otherwise. Bryan McGill was another key player, going 6-for-10 en route to 15 points.

Morgan Park is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season. The defeat snapped Agricultural Science's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 20-10 record.

Looking ahead, Morgan Park will take on Lemont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lemont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Morgan Park likes a good challenge. Agricultural Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
