Basketball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Mustangs vs. Tooele Buffaloes
Crimson Cliffs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Tooele Buffaloes 69-47. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buffaloes, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crimson Cliffs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Travis Murdock, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 20 points. The contest was Murdock's third in a row with at least ten points. Mckay Lindquist was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Crimson Cliffs was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tooele only racked up 12 assists.
Despite the loss, Tooele still got an impressive performance from Grady Symonds, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Symonds has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Crew Lewis, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
Crimson Cliffs is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Tooele, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Crimson Cliffs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-61 defeat against Riverton on the 28th. As for Tooele, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-42 win against Snow Canyon on the 28th.
