Volleyball Recap: Oshkosh West Gets the Win

Oshkosh West had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Shawano Community Hawks.

Sydnee Nelson paced Oshkosh West's offense, picking up 12 kills. Nelson got some help from MaKaelyn Clark and her 18 assists. Clark was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Oshkosh West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Brookfield East on the 26th. As for Shawano Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Kimberly on the 26th.
