The Parowan Rams will head out to challenge the Canyon View Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parowan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Parowan took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Delta as they made off with an 11-4 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Rabbits recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Jadyn Yardley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Ryann Robinson and Erika Kelly did most of the damage at the plate: Robinson went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI, while Kelly went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave Robinson a new career-high. Avia Anderson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Canyon View posted their closest win since March 7th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Juab 13-11.
Maisy Brady made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and six unearned) runs off 11 hits. Brady was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two doubles. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
In other batting news, Sadie Sams was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Ava Melling also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Canyon View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.
Parowan's record is now 6-12. As for Canyon View, their record now sits at 10-6.
Parowan might still be hurting after the 19-1 loss they got from Canyon View in their previous matchup back in March of 2019. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
