Volleyball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cathedral City Lions.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Cathedral City, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Corona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Beaumont on the 8th. As for Cathedral City, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against King on the 8th.
