Volleyball Recap: Jenkins Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Jenkins kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2020.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Savannah Arts Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Lehto, who had 13 assists and three digs. That's the most digs Lehto has posted since back in September of 2024.

Coincidentally, Jenkins and Savannah Arts Academy will both be playing Savannah Country Day the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
