It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Kennett ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 40-32 win over the New Madrid County Central Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kennett's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for New Madrid County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kennett will head out to face off against Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats' defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for New Madrid County Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Malden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Green Wave's rather soft defense (which has allowed 54 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
