Football Recap: Pocono Mountain West Takes a Loss

If Pocono Mountain West was riding high fresh off their 49-26 takedown of East Stroudsburg South last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasant Valley Bears on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Pocono Mountain West's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pleasant Valley, their record is now 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pocono Mountain West will take on rival Pocono Mountain East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Stroudsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
