Volleyball Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs Comes Up Short

Pierre T.F. Riggs lost against Spearfish back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Governors fell 3-1 to the Spartans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 22-25, 25-13.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Spearfish, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Pierre T.F. Riggs will square off against Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spearfish, they will welcome Lead-Deadwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Golddiggers at the right time seeing as the Golddiggers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
