Baseball Recap: Ar-We-Va Comes Up Short

Ar-We-Va made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Woodbine, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rockets fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Ar-We-Va's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Woodbine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ar-We-Va will venture away from home to challenge CAM at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodbine, they will challenge South Central Calhoun at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
