Volleyball Recap: Community Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Community Christian Academy lost against Challenger on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Firebirds. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 3, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Challenger's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Jones led the charge by getting 21 assists and three digs. Jones has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Community Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Challenger, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Community Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Christian Family Academy on the 2nd. As for Challenger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against The Master's Academy on the 2nd.
