Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Baker Mountaineers. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mountaineers 25-12 in the first set.

Lakewood started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 12-25, 27-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Mt. Baker, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-9-2.

Looking ahead, Lakewood will head out to square off against Ferndale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Baker, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Mount Vernon on the 22nd.
