Baseball Recap: Valley's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

The Valley Vikings didn't have quite enough to beat the North Hills Indians on Monday and fell 6-4. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.

Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conrad Hoover, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Valley fell to 4-1. As for North Hills, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Valley will be playing at home against Hampton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Hills, they will square off against Knoch at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Knoch's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so North Hills' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
