Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Comes Up Short

The Unity Christian Lions came up short against the Dominion Christian Knights on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Unity Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-15.

Lyla Ellison paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Ellison got some help from Ella Claire Goodwin and her 17 assists. Goodwin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Unity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Unity Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Darlington at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dominion Christian, they will take on Mt. Bethel Christian Academy in a tournament on Saturday.
