Soccer Game Preview: Olive Branch vs. Grenada

Olive Branch hasn't had much luck against Grenada recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Conquistadors will challenge the Chargers at 5:00 p.m. Olive Branch has given up an average of 6.2 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Olive Branch's offense. They lost 11-0 to Lewisburg on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Olive Branch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi soccer rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Lewisburg are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Grenada kept a clean sheet against Cleveland Central on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Wolves. Grenada might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Cleveland Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Catelyn Neathery (3), Pinson Jackson, and Ava Moorman.

Grenada is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7-1 record this season. As for Olive Branch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
