Recap: Golden State Prep vs. Summit K2 Dragons
Golden State Prep entered their tilt with the Summit K2 Dragons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Golden State Prep walked away with a 63-50 victory over Summit K2 on Wednesday.
Among those leading the charge was Onyekachi Achinulo, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Achinulo is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Biren Lowe was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 assists.
Golden State Prep has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 3-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Summit K2, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Golden State Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Summit K2, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berean Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th.
