Softball Recap: Rancocas Valley Gets the Win

Rancocas Valley won the last time they faced Cherry Hill East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Devils came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 8-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Molly Doppler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ava Sweet was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Rancocas Valley's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Cherry Hill East, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancocas Valley will face off against rival Shawnee at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cherry Hill East is set to take on their familiar foe Lenape at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
